Autumn leaves in the lake Yamanaka was so beautiful now.
Lake Yamanaka is a famous holiday resort and one of the most popular place to see the gorgeous scenery with mount Fuji.
You can see the beautiful autumn leaves at some places between the beginning to mid of November every year.

Asahigaoka Park

This park at the shore is the most popular place to see the autumn leaves.

You can see swans and ducks at the shore.

Observatory of Yuyake-no-Nagisa

A pathway at the shore from Asahigaoka Park leads you to this observatory in 10 minutes.

I went there by a car and used the free parking lot.

Nagaike Shinsui Koen Park

7 minutes walk from Nagaike Shinsui Koen mae bus stop of Fujikko-go bus.
There were a beautiful tree along the cycling road.

This park is one of the most popular place for Mount Fuji viewing.
The scenery of Mt.Fuji and Japanese silver glasses in autumn are also good.

You can see “Diamond Fuji” around the lake between the mid of October and the end of February.
The scenery of a sun sets on the summit of Mount Fuji looks like a sparkling diamond atop the mountain.
If you are lucky you can take picture of the one with a swan.

I used the free parking lot.

There were a free public lavatory near the parking lot.

8minutes walk from Mt.Fuji Yamanakako (Yamanakako Lake Hotel Mt.Fuji Iriguchi) bus stop of Fujikko-go bus.
There were some trees along the cycling road.

BY TRAIN & BUS (Approx. 3～4hours from Tokyo

Shinjuku stn.→Otsuki stn. (1.5 hour by JR Chuo Honsen Line)
Otsuki stn. → Fujisan stn. (1 hour by Fuji Kyuko Line)
Fujisan stn. → 25 minutes by Bus

By Express Bus

Shinjuku Highway Bus Terminal → about 2hour by Fuji Kyoko Bus bound for Fuji-Goko(five lakes)
