I went to the Kumano shrine in Chigasaki city at the New Year’s Day.
This is called “Hatsumoude”.
Hatsumoude means the first visit of the year to the shrine.
To eat ozoni（a kind of broth/soup with rice cakes）and Hatsumoude at New Year’s Day are the traditional customs in Japan.
