Mt.Fuji with flowers in Hanano Miyako Koen park

Hanano Miyako Koen Park is located near the lake Yamanakako in Yamanashi prefecture.
You can see beautiful scenery of Mt.Fuji and various flowers in each seasons such as tulip, nemophila, sunflower and zinnia flower.

Tulip ＆ nemophila

You can see the fully bloomed 170,000 tulips from the end of April to the beginning of May every year.
They have free zone and the toll zone.
When I visit free zone at 1 May , tulips were fully bloomed.
I took this picture with 1.5 times zoom by iPhone7 Plus.

The best time to see red tulips had already ended, but another kinds were fully bloomed.
A woman was taking a picture of her dog.
I asked her to take a photo with her.
Same as her, many people took picture of their pets with Mount Fuji and flowers in the background.

Yellow tulips in another free tulip garden was also fully bloomed.

Purple tulips were boomed in front of the yellow tulip field.

Nemophila field in the toll zone.
It wasn’t fully bloomed yet, but still beautiful.

I took these pictures at the free zone.

This is the entrance of the toll zone “Seiryu-No Sato”.
Buy the ticket at the ticket vending machine then hand it to the staff.

You can see many kinds of kinds of tulips than free area.

Carp streamers with cherry blossoms and Mt.Fuji.
Set carp streamers in the sky is an annual event in May to hope children grow up healthy.

Sunflowers were fully bloomed at the field in the free area near the 1st gate.

You can enter into a sunflower maze from the entrance on the right.

Inside the maze.
It isn’t difficult so you will be able to go to exit in 5 – 10 minutes.

Zinnia flowers were also beautifully bloomed at the neighboring field.

I took pictures of fully bloomed sunflower at the field on the left side of this bridge near the 1st gate.
In the day before yesterday I shot at the sunflower filed on the right side of the bridge.
These sunflowers were shorter than the ones on the right side.

Sunflowers at the sunflower field in the free area around the 2nd gate was fully bloomed.
The ones in another fields had already died.

Same as the sunflower field near the 1st gate, there were a sunflower maze in this field.

Visited at 6:30 A.M. – 7:30 A.M. of 25 August
Photos and video were taken by iPhone.

You can see the beautiful scenery of the 220,000 sunflowers with Mt.Fuji from the mid to the end of August every year.
I took this photo 4 times zoom by iPhone.

They made sunflower field as a big maze every year.
But unfortunately the peak of flowers has already past.
It had been raining or cloudy in August this year.
So I missed the best time to see this beautiful maze.

There were Zinnia flower field next to sunflower filed.
It was an amazing scenery!
You can see this colorful carpet from mid of July to the beginning of October every year.

They have another sunflower , so I moved to it.
Turn left at the entrance of a toll zone without entering it.

Go straight this path.

I reached at yellow cosmos field, then I went down the stairs.
There were sunflower field on the far side.

Yellow cosmos were at their best!

A big and beautiful sunflower field!

There were some paths in the field.

Innermost of a sunflower field was the best photo spot.

When you take photo of sunflower, you may use a stool like this.

As sunflowers are tall, you can take picture with depth by using stool.

Mt.Fuji and sunflower field was so beautiful!!

Visited at 7:00 A.M. – 8:00 A.M. of 9 August

Many camera buff had already came when I arrived there at 7:00 A.M.
Early morning was the best timing for them because probably no tourists.

They made sunflower field as a big maze.
It was a little harder than I thought!
People around me also got lost like me.

Zinnias were fully bloomed beyond the sunflower field.

This is the scenery when Mt.Fuji hide behind the crowds.
I took this picture a few days before this day.
This time I succeeded in taking Photo of Mt.Fuji and sunflowers!

Admission Fee

They have free zone and toll zone.
500 yen for adult(16 years-old and over), 200 yen for child

Opening Hour

8:30～17:30.
But in terms of the free zone, you can go whenever you want.

Car

About 1.5～2h. from Tokyo via Tomei expressway or Chuo expressway.
Fee of parking lot is 300 JPY(open from 5:00.)

Busta Shinjuku in Tokyo → About 2hour by Fuji Kyoko Bus bound for Fuji-Goko(five lakes) → Asahigaoka Bus Stop → 15 minutes by Fujiko-go 2 Bus (clockwise) → Hanano Miyako Bus Stop → 1 minute walk
