Kuonji is the head temple of the Nichiren Sect of Buddhism in Yamanashi prefecture that was founded in 1274.

Sanmon gate(21m high and 42m wide).
It is one of the biggest Sanmon Gate in Japan.

Over 400 years old Shidare-Zakura cherry blossoms.
You can take this beautiful picture in front of Soshido ( Founder’s Memorial Hall ).

This ropeway brings you to the summit of Mt. Minobu where you can pay a visit to Okunoin Shishinkaku temple.
View from the window was also beautiful.
To see this scenery you should get on the left side of the ropeway.
