Hakone Garasunomori Museum (Venetian Glass Museum) is one of the most well known museum in Hakone area.
They houses a collection of over 100 pieces of Venetian glassware in the Italian styled buildings.
It displays both modern and classical works.
Hakone is very popular destination for a day trip from Tokyo as it has nice hot springs, natural beauty and beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji as well as a large number of good museums.

A pathway from entrance leads you to this beautiful garden with a brilliant glass walled corridor.
Italian styled building on the left is the museum.

160,000 drops of crystal glass hang on a 9-meter arched flame.

In the garden, you can see Japanese silver grasses made by 13,000 pieces crystal glass from the end of August to November every year.

I ate soft serve ice cream at the cafe with an open terrace in the garden.

To take a walk in the forest was also good!
