I went to Odawara castle in Odawara city at 12 April 2017 when the cherry blossoms were fully bloomed.
It was originally built in the mid 15th century.And now it is the most popular sightseeing spot in Odawara city.
Odawara City is situated in the southwest of Kanagawa Prefecture, and is famous as the entrance of Hakone area.
Cherry blossoms are fully bloomed between the end of March and beginning of April every year.

I went to high school in near here, but it was my first time to look around here in the cherry blossom season.

Go up the stairs and pass through the gate, then you can go to the main field of the castle.

This place (near the exit of Tokiwagi gate) was a nice photo spot.
Many people took pictures.

At Tokiwagi Gate in main field,you can borrow Kimono,Armor,Helmet and take photo.

I went to the observation deck of the castle tower.
The landscape of Odawara city,Sagami bay and Mt.Hakone was great!
There is also a museum that has a collection of artifacts, armor and weapons inside the castle tower.

【Holidays】On 2nd Wednesday in December,December 31 and January 1st.
【Fee】Adult 500 yen, Child 200 yen
You can buy tickets at the entrance of the castle tower.

Then I went to the playground for kids in the park.
I used to come here with parents in my childhood.
It brought back my memories.
The fee of this train is 80 yen.
