I went to Daigyoretsu of Sanja Matsuri at Asakusa in Tokyo.
The Sanja Matsuri (Sanja Festival) is a very famous annual festival in the third weekend in May.
It is taken place for three days.
The history dates back to 1312 A.D.
This festival is taken place to have three gods of Asakusa shrine look around the Asakusa town from portable shrines.
Daigyoretsu is one of the event in this festival that is held in the first day.
You can see Tokyo Sky Tree and Hozomon Gate at the same time in this place.
It is best photo spot.
But it is very crowded so you should come 30 minutes before the beginning of the event to secure a place.
Then many people who wore traditional Japanese costume were parading.
Finally they began to perform a traditional dance “Shirasagi no Mai”.
People were so excited by it.
It was my first time to see it and very impressive to me.
