Atami city has Japan’s most earliest cherry blossoms which you can see in January.
They are Atamizakura – the early-blooming cherry trees.
Atami is a seaside town where you can go within an hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen( bullet train ).
It is known as a popular tourist destination with a lot of Onsen ( hot spring ).
But in addition you can see beautiful cherry blossoms in January while other places in Japan has much snow.
