Goryo Jinja shrine in Kamakura is a popular place that you can take a beautiful picture of Enoden(famous nostalgic train) with hydrangea.
This Shrine is dedicated to the soul of Kagemasa (Gongoro) Kamakura.
He was an extraordinarily brave samurai with great physical strength in Heian period.

Kamakura is a city in Kanagawa Prefecture,once it was a political capital along with Nara and Kyoto.
It makes an easy day trip from Tokyo.
Many people visit Kamakura throughout the year.
But in June it become more popular because beautiful hydrangeas are fully bloomed in many temple, shrine and tourist sights.

8 June – Best time to see in 2018

I took a picture of hydrangea with Enoden Line at the best photo spot(refer to the article of 2017) again this year.
There weren’t many flowers than the last year.

So I changed the place.
I stood at the side of a railroad crossing.

I took these pictures by 3 times zoom of iPhone7 Plus.
I could take nice photo!

You can see beautiful scenery of hydrangea with Enoden line at railroad crossing in front of this shrine.
Enoden Line is the popular train for its nostalgic atmosphere.
It runs between Fujisawa station and Kamakura station via.

The best time to see hydrangea in here is from the mid to the end of June.
Among the beautiful hydrangea viewing spot in Kamakura, it is one of the most famous place.

So many people come to take photo.
If you want to avoid congestion, you should arrive at there until 10:00.
People are relatively few in that time.

The place within a red circle is the best photo point.
I got on one knee and held my iPhone in front of this pole until the train came.
Train came every 6 minutes.

I found that it was difficult to take picture  in a good compostition.
Because the train came very closer than I thought.
So in this picture, the top of train and hydrangea in lower right were cut off.

I finally succeeded to take a beautiful picture after 3 – 4 times failure.
This type of train is the most popular.
